The pattern itself doesn´t tell you how to knit the actual sock (this is explained in the same book at the techniques section) but how to transform a sock into a little horse.
This means even though the pattern is only given for size 30/31 it can easily be adjusted for bigger/smaller feet.

Even though the pattern calls for 50gr of fingering wool in each of the two colours, you´ll need much less (depending on the size you knit).
