Horst the Rabbit has a big heart for all those knitters who urgently need a little present for a babtism, a mascot for the best friend or just a cool companion for the next holidays. He knits up quickly with sewing reduced to the minimum – his body, ears and legs are all knit in one go! Body and legs are formed with short rows. For all who always wanted to try them, give Horst a go – the wrong side inside out does not only give him an interesting texture, but hides all irregularities. Good to know: Lutz is worked with the leftover yarn from the gradient skein I used for Horst.

Choose any yarn you like or have left over – HORST will be bigger or smaller depending on the yarn. I used NORO Silk Garden lite, but if you knit him for a small child, other less pilling and more robust qualities are more suitable.

Horst Hase hat ein Herz für Strickerinnen, die noch ganz schnell ein Geschenk zur Taufe, ein Mitbringsel für die beste Freundin oder einfach einen coolen Kumpel fürs eigene Sofa brauchen, denn er ist ganz fix gestrickt. Körper, Ohren und Beine bestehen aus einem Stück, sodass kaum genäht werden muss. Die Form wird mit verkürzten Reihen erzielt – wer‘s noch nie probiert hat, kann gut mit Horst üben, da er Fehler leicht verzeiht. Bärchen Lutz ist übrigens aus dem Rest des Verlaufsgarn gestrickt.

Sie können jede beliebige Wolle verwenden (z. B. Strumpfgarn). Je nach Wollstärke wird HORST größer oder kleiner. Ich habe NORO Silk Garden lite verwendet, doch wenn Sie den Hasen für ein kleines Kind stricken, ist ein robusteres, weniger fusseliges Garn ratsamer.
