Hortensia
Hortensia is knit in the round with a busy little stitch pattern that’s beautiful on either side.
Little Fox is one luscious yarn that’s been hand dyed in a gorgeous array of colors.
Yankee Rock Farm Finn is new to me and was delicious in my hands and a pleasure to knit.
The pattern has directions for different weights and dimensions, and is very adaptable to many weights of yarn and finished sizes.
(Gaiter) - 1 skein Yankee Rock Farm Finn, 3 ply worsted, 200 yards per 100g skein, or another lush Worsted Weight yarn.
Gauge - 20 stitches and 27 rounds in 4”/10 cm, in stockinette stitch.
US7/4.5mm 24”/61cm circular needles, or size needed to achieve gauge
Finished Measurements - 22”/56cm around and 10”/25.5cm deep after blocking.
Cowl - 2 skeins Yankee Rock Farm Finn, 3 ply worsted, 200 yards per 100g skein, or another lush Worsted Weight yarn.
Gauge - 20 stitches and 27 rounds in 4”/10 cm, in stockinette stitch.
US7/4.5mm 24”/61cm circular needles, or size needed to achieve gauge
Finished Measurements - 26”/66cm around and 13½”/34cm deep after blocking.
Lightweight Cowl -1 skein Little Fox Vixen, 80% merino and 20% silk, 400 yards,
or other beautiful Fingering Weight yarn.
The green is a favorite OOAK Cephalopod Fingering, long discontinued.
Gauge - 24 stitches and 30 rounds in 4”/10 cm, in stockinette stitch.
US3/3.25mm 24”/ circular needles, or size needed to achieve gauge
Finished Measurements - 26”/66cm around and 14”/35.5cm deep after blocking.
Notions - A removable stitch marker, a tapestry needle.
