Der Hortensie-Cardigan ist eine kuschelige Strickjacke mit V-Ausschnitt, die im Halbpatent gestrickt wird. Mit Raglanzunahmen
wird der Cardigan nahtlos von oben nach unten in Reihen gearbeitet. Begonnen wird mit der Doubleface-Blende im Nacken, die
zunächst in beide Richtungen gestrickt wird, bevor daraus Maschen für den Körper aufgenommen werden. Im Nacken sorgen verkürzte
Reihen für eine gute Passform. Die Blenden samt Knopflöcher, werden zusammen mit dem Körper aus dem Nackenband fortlaufend mitgestrickt. Nach dem Stilllegen der Ärmelmaschen geht es gerade weiter zum Bündchen, wobei am Körper die Taschen mit einer Doubleface-Blende bereits vorgearbeitet werden. Bevor der Körper mit einem Doubleface-Bündchen endet, werden die Tascheninnenseiten gearbeitet und direkt mit dem Körper verbunden. Für die Arme
werden anschließend die stillgelegten Maschen wieder aufgenommen und die Ärmel ohne Abnahmen in Runden gestrickt. Diese enden auch jeweils in Doubleface-Bündchen, die italienisch abgekettet werden.

The Hydrangea Cardigan is a cozy V-neck
cardigan knit in half brioche stitch.
The cardigan is worked seamlessly in rows from top to bottom with raglan increases.
A double knit neckband, which begins at the back, is first worked in both directions. Stitch-es for the body are then picked up from the neckband. Short rows at the neck ensure a good fit. The front bands, including vertical buttonholes, continue from the neck band and are knit at the same time as the body. After the sleeve stitches are placed on holders, knitting continues with no shaping in the body.
