Why wouldn’t you want a little knitted housey (or 5) on your needles? Pattern includes chart & written instructions for 5 variations shown in photos, but mix, match, and modify however you like! Houses are knit in the round and filled with a piece of cardboard for stability.

YARN: oddments of 4ply / fingering weight yarn, approx 14-37 m / 15-40 yards per house.

Samples shown in Jamiesons and Smith 2-ply jumper weight in various neutral shades.

GAUGE: 26 sts / 38 rows per 4” / 10cm in stocking stitch, blocked. Suggested needle size 3mm.

Note: gauge is not especially important with this pattern, and it is more important that the needle size produces a firm fabric. The sample used a woollen spun yarn that knit up densely on a 3mm needle - you may need a smaller or larger needle size to achieve this fabric.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS: 3mm long circular needle for magic loop (see note above on needle size) OR 3mm DPNs if preferred.

SIZING: smallest house is 3” / 7.5cm tall and largest house is 5.25” / 13 cm tall.
