Hruni
Yoke chart adapted from manuscript for needle work patterns dating back to the 1800 to a priest´s wife on the farm HRUNI, South of Iceland.
The yoke pattern is a 18 sts repeat, not the easiest but well worth it:) The fit of the sweater is slightly modern: some body shaping with slight flare of bottom edge, narrow and straight-ish sleeves. Pattern is with fairly low neckline but you can easily make it higher (see pattern).
The un-spun lopi wool is very lightweight and you knit it with little tension on a fairly big needle (US10/ 6mm), in case you substitute, have this in mind. The un-spun lopi with its loose fibers makes a uniquely lightweight but warm sweater, it really is what you should use for this project:)
