Gauge: 10 x 10 cm = 22 sts and 24 rows over color work pattern on 4 mm / US 6 after blocking.

Notes
The mittens are knitted in the round. It begins with a cuff, followed by the chart pattern. In round 13, you mark for a thumb by knitting sts to scrap yarn that are removed later (for the thumb). When the main part of the mitten is finished, you knit the thumb. The mittens are rather tightly knit, to make them war.
