It is the year of the Tiger in the Chinese calendar and Huan thought he’d join my growing gang of amigurumi animals. The name means happy. He is approximately 2 inches high / 2.5 inches wide.

He uses a small amount of double knitting yarn and stuffing with safety eyes but you could stitches these on too. You could use any thickness of yarn just reduce the size of the hook by at least 1mm so the stitching is nice and tight.

You will need:

Double knitting yarn in orange, black and white (I’ve used Stylecraft Special DK in Spice for the orange)

3mm hook and a moveable row marker

Two 7mm safety eyes, small amount of stuffing, black and pink embroidery thread and sewing needle
