About HUG…
HUG is a wrap-spencer, worked flat in stockinette stitch.
You start in the middle of the stomach with a long I-cord band, which is also a tie. In this, stitches are first picked up for the upper part, which is knitted from the bottom up. Stitches are then picked up for the skirt, which is knitted from top to bottom so that the length easily can be adjusted. Finally, knit ties and edges in armholes.

TYND eco wool from hyggestrik.dk or similar light fingering weight wool: 306 yd (280 m) / 50 g.
100 / 150 / 150 / 150 / 200 g

Needles
32” circular needle size US 2.5 (3 mm)
2 double pointed needles size US 2.5 & 4 (3 & 3.5 mm)
Stitch markers

Gauge
28 stitches & 36 rows in stockinette stitch with needle size US 2.5 (3 mm) = 4” (10 cm).
