The Huldra shawl is part of the beautiful and unique knitting book named Sjaler Nordfra in Danish and Nordic Shawls in English.
The book has 18 gorgeous shawls designed by Karen S. Lauger, inspired by the wild Nordic nature and the stories of the creatures that live there.

Huldra is a fleeting, alluring forest creature in Scandinavian folklore. She can be recognised by her tail, which she will hide as she lures men to her den in the forest or mountain. If they stay too long with her, they will never find their way back home.
