Hummelo is a modern cardigan knit in a simple textured stitch pattern. With its curled angled fronts, split hem and longer back it transitions from casual jeans and a tee to a summer dress jacket.

24” Length circular knitting needle, size 6 (4 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Spare circular needle size 6 (4 mm) or smaller for 3 needle bind off
Stitch holders
Removable stitch markers

Gauge
22 sts = 4”; 30 rows = 4” in pattern stitch

Construction note
Beginning with the German Twist cast on, the back is knit from the bottom up with shoulders shaped using the German short row technique. Fronts are knit separately and joined to the back at shoulder seams with a 3 needle bind off. Drop sleeves are picked up from the body and knit down to the desired length. Stitches are picked up along the sides and a 3 needle bind off is used for side seams.
