Hyacinth Shawlette
PATTERN NOTES
This open and airy shawlette makes the most of a mere 50 grams of yarn. The stitch pattern is easily memorized and would make this a great project for the beginner lace knitter. The Hyacinth Shawlette is worked flat from the top down. The wings of the shawl mirror one another.
Please note that this shawl takes up an entire ball of yarn. Accurate gauge is crucial to ensure you do not run out of yarn. After obtaining gauge, unravel your swatch and use it for the shawl. If you are worried about running out of yarn, you can reduce the number of rows, taking care to work the last four rows in garter stitch. If in doubt, you may wish to purchase an additional ball of yarn.
