Whenever I think of designing winter things, the cables pattern is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Hyggelig simply means taking pleasure from the presence of gentle, comforting and soothing things; a feeling of friendship, warmth, peace and contentment in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The word “Hyggelig” is a Danish & Norwegian word.

This hat is inspired by my Hyggelig Cowl pattern. I designed this hat keeping in mind the comfort that warm clothing brings for people staying in the cold climate.

This cozy hat has an interesting and thick twisted braid pattern on one side which makes it perfect for keeping a person warm. It is a reversible hat and the other side of the hat looks like water running through layered rocks.

The texture is interesting on both sides of the hat making it not just a fashionable piece of accessory but a practical one as well.
