Hyldebær Shawl
Textured, triangular shawl with a fun construction
Hyldebær was a dream I had about creating a big triangular shawl with a beautiful texture, an interesting border and tassels.
It was the elderberry trees (hyldebær in danish) with their small dark berries, old twisted branches and soft leaves that gave me the inspiration for the elements in this shawl.
The body of the shawl is an easy and mindless knit while the border requires a bit more focus but once you have the border going it’s really easy to memorize.
