For 2026 I’m revisiting some of my older patterns. The first one is a reimagining of my I Heart You Hat. I wanted to have a simplified version and so I Heart You too was born. In this pattern you will find fully charted and written instructions. The hearts are more spread out and I feel easier to make than the original hearts. I also simplified the crown for easier counting. The original pattern continues to be its own pattern and is still available on my blog for free.

Yarn: Any dk weight yarn. Model used Stylecraft Special dk100% acrylic 295m/322 yards. 1 skein needed. Model used 45g.

Needles: 5/ 3.5mm 16 inch circular needles

Notions: Yarn needle

Gauge: 24 sts + 28 rows = 4 inches

Size: Adult 22 inch circumference

Stitches used: K, p, RT, LT, k2tog, p2tog, PM (place marker), SM (slip marker)

Special Stitches:
Right Twist (RT): Knit 2 together keeping both stitches on the left needle, knit into the first stitch, then pull both stitches onto the right needle, stitch complete.
Left Twist (LT): Knit through the back loop of the 2nd st, keep the stitch on the left needle, knit in the first stitch, then pull both stitches onto the right needle, stitch complete.

Notes: The RT and the LT both count as 2 stitches.
