Things you need to know:
+Using single and double crochet stitches
+Increasing and decreasing
+Hand stitching and weaving in ends
+Crocheting in the round with a magic ring

+Crocheting in the back and front loops
+Shell stitch (crochet 3 times into a single stitch and sl st in next st)
