You may crochet this headwrap using yarn type and hook size of choice. Sample used 2 strands of DK weight yarn held together (comparable to a bulky weight) and a size I (5.5 mm) hook. Flower was done using DK weight cotton/acylic yarn.

Pattern includes a size chart for standard head circumferences so you may make this headwrap to fit any age/size.
