The Ice Shawl (This can become Fire with just a yarn change)

Inspired by the Cascade mountains this shawl notes both the similarities between the shapes seen in the flames of fire and shards of Ice. Like these shapes the mountains themselves have a fiery side (the volcanic activity that formed them and that sometimes busts out and the regular ice in the form of glaciers, frost and just plain old cold.

This is a top down open shaped shawl is made for the adventurous beginner. Skills included are increases, 2x2 ribbing, asymmetrical large cables, and a crochet edge.
