Ice-Skating Scarf
Needles: size 11 (8mm) circular, 29 inches or longer
From the book: “Using only the knit stitch, alternate rows of worsted with boucle to create a very fancy woven effect. And, by leaving a seven-inch tail of yarn on each end of the scarf every time you switch yarns, you will create a dramatic fringe that swirls gracefully in your wake, both on and off the ice.”
The sample in the book was knit using one skein of Koigu Fancy Merino (Bouclé) and two skeins of Classic Elite Montera held together. Use a soft worsted weight yarn, such as llama or merino wool.
