Iced Latte Hat
The Iced Latte Hat features a garter stitch and brioche checkerboard brim, and a brioche rib body. The brim folds up to create a double layer over your ears for extra warmth. The light color is featured on the brim, and the dark color is featured on the body of the hat. Sew your ends carefully, and the hat will be fully reversible, featuring the dark color on the brim and the light color on the body!
The hat requires two skeins of yarn in contrasting colors. Because of the large pattern repeat, the finished size can only be adjusted by changing your needle size or yarn weight. But! The magic stretchiness of brioche means you can increase the width by making the hat a little taller; stretching it wider will steal a bit from the height.
The Iced Latte Hat is a design in my book Brioche Knit Love, 21 Skill Building Projects from Simple to Sublime, publication date October 19, 2021.
The book also includes a design for the coordinating Iced Latte Cowl.
