Icelandic Hat
“This design is influenced by the structured motifs of Icelandic sweater yokes. I created it back in 2012 when I had just moved to Orkney and was really inspired by the knitting from Scandinavian and Nordic countries. The hat is worked in the round and shaped toward the crown. I think it looks best in classic Nordic colors—oxide red, indigo, or black—with a white contrast.”
