To work the panel join: There are 6 I-cord loops/legs. Pick up the 4th from the
front, so that 3 loops are to the front and
2 loops are to the back of the blanket (easier to see from the WS).

Ikat Throw
Materials: 9 skeins Uneek Worsted, shown in 4008
Size: 79”/2 meters long by47”/1.20 meters wide
Needles: 10.5 US/6.5mm or 7mm
Gauge: 16 sts x 28 rows = 4”/10cm
Sample uses 7mm needles. Gauge is not crucial.
Ikat Throw is worked in a simple textured stitch reminiscent of woven ikat textiles, accentuating Uneek’s stripe color shifting. This large blanket consists of three I-cord side edged panels worked in a half-linen stitch field with garter stitch short ends. The panels are worked flat separately, then joined with Kitchener Stitch.
