Illusion Square to Eternity
The aim of this pattern is to show different effects that can be achieved by using the same two yarns.
Square to Eternity is a design we have often used elsewhere. One of these illusions appears to show the design in dark grey on a light grey background; the other seems to be dark grey on a medium grey background. The two squares look alike when you view them from directly in front.
You could use either, or both, of these squares for afghan blocks. They are not quite the same size but are close enough to match when joined together. You could also use them for cushions but might want to add a border to make them a bit bigger.
The squares shown were made in DK yarn and used approximately 80 metres (90 yards) in each colour, for each square. They measure about 33 cm (13”).
