Moth-inspired motifs and colourwork raglan sleeves represent the beauty of the Garden Tiger Moth in its final adult stage, or imago. Crocheted bottom up, the colour-flecked, Wool-based yarn is Recycled and Mulesing Free, and its texture adds an extra dimension.

Pattern notes
Sweater is worked in pieces. Motifs are first worked then joined to form piece at bottom of Front and Back. Work first row of Front and Back across top edge of joined motifs. Sleeves are worked using Crochet Chart: Colourwork Pattern; strand unused colour across WS of Sleeve, attaching it to every fifth st to secure large floats by slipping it over your hook as you work the st. Do not use tapestry crochet method to conceal unused yarn as this creates bulk and Sleeve tension that will not match Front and Back. Hem Band and Cuff Bands are worked in short rows directly onto garment after construction. Neckband is worked in a separate piece and then stitched to neck opening; this allows stretch and creates a neater finish. When reading Crochet Chart, read RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right.
