I wrote the Imperial Cables hat while thinking about the ideal seasonal holiday gift knitting. The cables are designed to be simple and engaging, while appearing deceivingly complex to the non-knitting eye.

Description A simple cabled hat knit in Cascade 220. Both written and charted instructions are provided.

Needles One 16 inch Size US 7/ 4.5mm Circular Knitting Needles and DPNs, or size needed to get gauge.

Yarn 100 grams of Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Wool, 220 yards/202 meters per 100. Color Number 8885. Total Yardage for hat is 103 yards/95 meters.

Gauge 16 stitches and 24 Rnds over 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch.

Finished Measurements 20 inches (unstreteched) by 8 inches tall.
