Looking for a speedy gift for a knitting friend?
In a Twist is a quick one skein project and a great first pattern for cable beginners. Working on a narrow strip of knitting the pattern will guide you through the many twists and turns which can be achieved by learning only a few simple cable stitches. 
Written and charted Instructions sit alongside clear and helpful photographs. In addition, a small photo tutorial gives step by step instruction in working the simple 3/3 LC and 3/3 RC cable stitches.

* Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran 1 ball 
 in 45 Basil Aran; 90 m (98 yds)
 per 50 g; 55% Merino, 33% 
 Microfibre, 12% cashmere
Tension 
* 18 sts = 10 cm over stocking stitch.
Needles and Notions
- 5 mm (US 8) straight needles. Or size required to obtain gauge. cable
 - needle 2 x lockable stitch markers
 - wool needle sewing needle and matching thread
 - 1.5 cm (⁵⁄₈ in) diameter button
 - Lightweight cotton print fabric (optional) approx 40cm (15 3⁄4 in) x 16cm(6 ¹⁄₄ in). Measurement provides a seam allowance of 1 cm (³⁄8 in)
