In Stillness Mini
Taller now. The grass was much taller than earlier in the season. In fact it was so tall that it made a swish-swish noise when it was walked through. It was a beautiful pale straw color, and made the yard look warmer. Autumn’s wild turkeys liked to roam through it, and hide in it, and their heads popped up at the occasional late afternoon noise. Golden and filtered, the sunlight had just made her final bow of the evening, sweeping behind the mountain ridge just beyond the small pond. There was much gathering of grass and dried flowers to be done, though, before rest could come.
Sweater is worked from the top down, flat to start and then joined in the round at front when neckline shaping is completed. Use “Broken Rib worked flat” until you begin working in the round, then continue with “Broken Rib worked in the round” to maintain established stitch pattern.
