“IF YOU have never tried knitting Fair Isle, then a mug cosy is a great little project to begin developing your skills,” suggests Juliet Bernard. “Milarrochy Tweed is an ideal yarn to use here, because the wool-mohair mix blocks beautifully to reveal the pretty colourwork pattern.” This mug cosy is worked flat in stranded stocking stitch, with moss stitch bands and fastened with one snap fastener.
