Inclining Scarf
A scarf that lies perfectly flat – no border required – how great is that!
Two (2) versions are included:
- #1 knit lengthwise in stripes of 2 colours (Cast On edge is the long edge of the scarf) (a short and long version) and
- #2 knit width-wise (short end is the Cast On edge).
Both use a long-repeat colour yarn.

Version 1. Short: 48 x 5” / 122 x 13cm
Version 1. Long: 80 x 5” / 203 x 13cm
Version 2: 76 x 4” / 193 x 10cm
Yarn
Version 1 Striped Model – Short (Long): 125yds / 114m (209yds / 191m) worsted weight long-repeat colour yarn (A) and 70yds / 64m (120yds / 110m) worsted weight solid colour yarn (B).
Sample knit in Bernat Mosaic (209yds / 191m per 100g; 100% Acrylic) in Medusa (A) and Bernat Satin (200yds / 182m per 100g; 100% Acrylic) in Ebony (B)
Version 2 Blue-green Model: 209yds / 191m worsted weight long-repeat colour yarn.

Needles
#1: 9 mm / US13 circular 30” / 80 cm or longer
#2: 8 mm / US11
Adjust needle size as required to obtain the correct gauge.
Gauge
19 sts = 4” / 10cm in Pattern Stitch on 9 mm needles
21 sts = 4” / 10cm in Pattern Stitch on 8 mm needles
Techniques
Knit, purl, knit 2 together, knit into front and back of stitch, purl 2 together, slip stitch
