Indian summer is a triangular shawl with stripes. It is started from the neck and worked downwards. The shawl was designed to show off a very variegated yarn, paired with a solid color yarn. The stripes are narrow so that the multicolored yarn would look as attractive as possible, without major pooling or other undesired effects (pooling can be desired, too, but this shawl is not designed for that purpose)

One size: 160 cm (63 in) wide and 75 cm (30 in) long at center spine.

Yardage: Main color 537 yd / 491 m (140 g), contrast color 345 yd / 316 m (90 g).

Gauge: 24 sts per 10 cm unblocked, but gauge is not important.

Additional materials: If using the provisional cast-on, you will need a small piece of waste yarn and a crochet hook of size 3.5 mm (US E).
