There’s something magical about the moment when the sun dips down below the horizon. The beams of sunlight are scattered across the atmosphere, resulting in a multitude of colors. This shawl encapsulates the wonder of that moment. Slipped stitch ‘beams’ radiate from the center outward, worked in a long-running gradient that shifts hues as the shawl expands. A solid contrast color creates additional beams and highlights the drama within the complex color changes.
