Old fashioned lace gown is a joy to knit for baby’s christening day. Openwork diamonds pattern skirt; yoke is worked in a breezy lattice stitch. Seed pearls add a subtle glow at neckline, sleeve and skirt borders. Gown and matching cap have white satin ribbon accents. An heirloom-to-be of Bucilla’s Wondersheen.

Materials: 4 400-yd skeins of Bucilla Wondersheen. Offray white double-faced satin ribbon, 4 yards each 1/4” and 3/8” wide. Craft House Pearl beads, 2 packages 4.0 mm. Three 7/16” pearl buttons.

Body Chest Size: 19”
Finished Chest Size: 22”

Pattern Note: String pearl beads on a small separate ball to use for the bead row of cascade pattern.
