Berets not only keep us warm on chilly days; they also add a unique and special touch to our wardrobe. And when the beret is handmade by us, it carries all the feelings woven into it. Knit the delicacy of flowers and let every stitch bloom with light and color.

What do you need to know?
To knit, purl, make increases and decreases. To work in the round.

Materials

• Yarn: 1 skein of Arweta by Filicolana. 80% merino wool, 20% nylon. 50 g / 210 m (230 yds) — fingering weight
• Circular 3 mm (US 2.5) needles for the beret
• Circular 2,5 mm (US 1.5) needles for the rib
• 3 mm hook for the bobbles (optional)
• 5 Markers. A different marker for the BOR
• Tapestry needle

Gauge
In a 10x10 cm (4x4 in) gauge you should have 27 sts and 32 rounds worked in the round in lace pattern.
If your gauge differs, instructions for making adjustments are provided in the beret section.

Finished measurements
Maximum diameter: 26 cm (10.25 in)
Height: 23 cm (9 in).

Construction notes
The beret is worked from the top center down to the lower ribbing, allowing you to try it on as you go if you wish to adjust the fit or if your gauge differs slightly from the pattern. It is worked entirely in the round, always on the right side.

Materiales

• Agujas circulares o de doble punta de 3 mm para tejer la boina
• Agujas circulares o de doble punta de 2,5 mm para el elástico
• Ganchillo de grosor similar para los bodoques (opcional)
• 5 marcadores. Uno distinto como M IV
• Aguja lanera para rematar los hilos

Tejido de Muestra
En una muestra tejida en circular de 10 x 10 cm con el punto calado obtendrás 27p por 32 V. Si tu muestra difiere, en la sección de la boina, te indicaré cómo hacer ajustes.

Medidas
Su diámetro máximo mide 26 cm y su altura 23 cm.

Notas de construcción
La boina está tejida desde la parte central superior hasta el elástico inferior, lo que te permitirá irte probándola en caso de que quieras adaptarla o la muestra difiera ligeramente de la propuesta.
Está tejida completamente en circular, siempre trabajando el lado derecho de la boina.
