Pattern Notes:
The Innkeeper’s Sweater is the third and final pattern in the Innkeeper’s capsule collection that I designed in collaboration with Leading Men Fiber Arts! The collection celebrates the intentional creation of spaces designed to welcome people with food, drink, warmth and comfort.

The Innkeeper’s Sweater has the same super-squishy waffle stitch and deep, turned up ribbing as the Innkeeper’s Hat and Mitts, but in a delightfully cozy sweater. It also has a folded over collar which really brings the room together, adding a bit of structure and extra squish to this perfectly slouchy, oversized pullover.

The Innkeeper’s Sweater is cast on at the bottom and knit in the round to the underarms. From that point on the front and back are worked separately and flat. After the neckline has been shaped the shoulder seems are grafted together, and sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round to the cozy, turned up cuffs. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck edge and knit into a rounded, folded over collar.
