insignia shawl
A very simple shawl worked in garter stitch, the stripes are formed by alternating needle sizes.
Size 18¾“ at widest point (neck to lower back point) and 69” long from end to end
Yarn Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (80% cotton, 20% merino; 215 yd 197 m/100 g):
• #CW-345 gold dust, 3 skeins
Gauge 14 sts and 26 rows = 4” in garter stripe patt, alternating needle sizes, as directed
Tools
•Size 7 (4.5 mm): 29” circular (cir) needle
•Size 10½ (6.5 mm): 29” cir needle
•Yarn needle
