Multidirectional garter stitch jacket loosely based on the Log Cabin quilt block. Squares are knitted from a chart, in intarsia. Jacket is worked in strips of garter squares. Each square is connected to the previous square as it is knit. The strips then are sewn together to form the jacket.

Materials:
- MC in worsted weight: 1600 (1700, 1800) yds or approx 14 (14, 16) 1.75oz / 50g balls in medium intensity gray.
- CC in DK to Aran weight, light to medium intensity: 48” lengths of off-whites (CC1); 36” lengths of red-oranges or oranges (CC2); 42” lengths of yellows (CC3); 51” lengths of yellow-greens (CC4); 57” lengths of greens or blue-greens (CC5); approx. 100 yds (or one 50g ball) extra of CC5 for sleeves and trims.
