Interlocking Cable Socks
About the Design
After the knee sock was designed and knit, I decided a shorter sock would be very useful, especially with jeans or other winter slacks.
I devised this interlocking pattern from the aran tunic’s center panel pattern, adapting the sides of the motif to run them together. There are 3 repeats around the sock, with one at center front.
Knit in Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride worsted with Handpaint Originals in a solid cream color used for reinforcing the heels and toes.
This pattern is in color charted and text forms.
