I confess I forgot today is International Crochet Day, so to make up for it I challenged myself to design a motif to celebrate!
It is a nice dense fabric, ideal for a blanket.

It is 15 cm (6 in) along each side in aran yarn with a 5mm hook, but can be made in any weight yarn (suggestions for yarn weight and hook size are included).

It is written in one continuous yarn but can be adapted to a different colour each round.
