Intersection Shawl
I love to knit lace, but wearing it can be another story. Frilly, girly and delicate things don’t fit my life or my personality. I like to wear cozy, casual and capable pieces. For this shawl I was determined to combine my knitting passion and my wardrobe needs. To find, in effect their intersection.
I used short row construction to create a rounded, shape flattering edge with a ribbed border for stability, weight and interest. The beautiful and simple lace pattern covers your back without interruption, while the off-set ribbing frames the lace and give the shawl a flat edge.
