Interstellar Voyage
This project was coincidentally completed the day Voyager 1 broke through to interstellar space.
“The NASA spacecraft, which rose from the Earth on a September morning 36 years ago, has traveled farther than anyone, or anything, in history.”
My husband commented that the beads looked like stars in space and named it for the day’s event.
I just had to go with it!:)

It’s a moebius cowl, with beads placed in a specific pattern; consequently, the beads are on every surface of the cowl. The Moebius has a 180-degree twist, which is created at the join of the special cast on. Rounds of knitting grow from the center of the work to the outsides.

Note: When knitting the moebius, it is recommended to use 47” circular needles for optimum comfort. Needles may be purchased at your local yarn shop.

TOHO beads may be purchased from Bobby Bead in Minneapolis. The beads used in this project are 40 grams of color #505, Blue Higher Iris Metallic, size 6/0.
