Worked from the top-down in an easy to memorise pattern with groovy cuff, heel and toe details.

Yardage ranges for a UK size 5-6 (Small) through to a UK size 10 (Large). One skein of Wollmeise Twin will be enough for a much larger foot.

Please note; the stitch pattern doesn’t have a lot of stretch in it, making a wonderfully snug fitting sock, but do ensure you knit the right size to suit your foot. Two foot circumference fittings are provided; 20cm / 8” and 22.5cm / 9”.

Instructions are in charted form only.

To make absolutely clear the heel turn should be worked as follows: Rep rows 3 and 4 until all sts have been worked and 19 (21) sts remain for the heel.

Early version of the sock have a much more defined line between the motifs and this is achieved by working a central double decrease as follows: slip 2 sts knitwise, k1, pass slipped stitches over.
