Pattern Notes

This is an advance level pattern.

Cardigan is made up of two sections of Granny squares that are joined as-you-go and a Waistline through the middle. In final round (Round 5) of Granny Square, 1 or 2 sides of working square are joined to adjoining square. The number of sides joined depends on position of square: refer to schematic for square placement. Alternate Round 5 instructions are given for the side(s) joined; this instruction show all sts from cnr to cnr of 1 side. If working 2 joined sides at once, repeat this instruction. Sleeves are joined to Cardigan using join-as-you-go method in same way.
Buttonbands and edgings are added at the end.
