Inuksuit (the plural of Inukshuk) are human-made stone landmarks constructed of piled rocks and boulders, located in Canada and the Arctic. Used to communicate, these structures date back thousands of years, and were often stacked to resemble humans, “to act in the capacity of a human”. The Inukshuk Sock pays homage to the native people of Canada and the Arctic with a simple knit and purl pattern that displays these majestic landmarks. When the cold arctic winds blow, the Inukshuk socks will keep your feet toasty!

Size: Women’s Small (Women’s Medium, Women’s Large)

Foot Circumferences: 7” (8”, 8 ¾”)

Gauge: 32 (30, 30)st/4” in Stockinette Stitch

Needles: (2) US 1 (2.25 mm) (US 2 (2.75mm), US 2 (2.75mm)) circular needles or size to obtain gauge

Materials: Shown in Malabrigo’s Sock (100% Superwash Merino Wool: 440 yds/100g)

Yardage: Approximately 380 (400, 420) yards (1 skein)

Skill Level: Intermediate
