This pattern is for a beanie worked from the bottom up and in the round using the strand-ed colourwork technique.
Stitches are cast on, corrugated rib is worked, then the body/crown chart.
This pattern contains a chart with the sample colours and a chart with symbols.
As with any of my patterns, feel free to use any techniques or shaping you prefer or need.
Under the yarn amounts I have added the information for light, medium, or dark colours besides the colours used in the sample. Just in case there is a Gathered Sheep Yarns Bundle you have your eye on and would like to make substitutions!

Shetland 4ply by Gathered Sheep Yarns; Fingering; 100% Pure Shetland Wool; 233yds (213m) / 55g

MC (Brazil Nut/dark) - 25g ; 106yds / 97m
CC1 (Green Caterpillar/dark - medium) - 10g ; 43yds / 39m
CC2 (New Beginnings/light) - 5g ; 22yds / 20m
CC3 (Blue Haze/light) - 10g ; 43yds / 39m
CC4 (Raspberry/dark) - 5g ; 22yds / 20m
CC5 (Strawberry Melon/medium) - 5g ; 22yds / 20m
CC6 (Fairy Pink/light) -10g ; 43yds / 39m
needles:
2.75mm (us no 2) circular 24in/60cm; DPNs
3.25mm (us no 3) circular 40in/101cm; DPNs
gauge:
26 sts x 32 rounds = 4in/10cm over stranded stockinette on 3.25mm needles
26 sts x 34 rounds = 4in/10cm over stockinette in single-colour on 2.75mm needles
Some knitters work stranded and single-coloured at different gauges, keep gauge the same throughout.
