Errata

The k1 in the increase stitch description has been changed to brk1. The current pattern has been corrected to include this change.

Pattern assumes you have a working knowledge of brioche knitting. See Nancy Marchant’s Knitting Brioche or Knitting Fresh Brioche for any needed instruction.

Sizes are not included in the pattern, but there are directions for changing the cast on to accommodate different sizes.

Highlights of this pattern are the shaping and the dark color edge. Directions are included to edge in the dark color. Feel free to use those ideas in your own design.

For wearing this as a shawl, consider continuing the front edge increases to the bottom of the garment and leave off the I-cord ties.

Please let me know if you find a mistake in the pattern. It’s free and I don’t want to go through the test knit process for this garment.
