Irene Chunky Beanie
This beautiful beanie was inspired by the amazing English hats my Grandmother used to wear.
She had the most decadent, classy style that just never goes out of fashion. I always thought I would not be truly a grown up until I had an English Hat - like her gorgeous deep brown lace one with Aran cabled arrow stitching.
Since those vintage hats were always so out of reach for me, I created a memory to think of her while I wear it. I know she would just love it. Earlier this year, for my 25th wedding anniversary, my husband completely surprised me and bought me my very own vintage treasure – a bespoke English made ladies hat in deep red and lace - I am finally a grown up! My Gram would be so proud to see it and do high Tea together in our hats. <3
You will fall in love with the amazing texture of a timeless stitching in the trendy, deep brown colored, beautiful, Softee Chunky Beanie worked in the round! Perfect for making for cozy autumn and winter days of skiing, hiking sledding or for Christmas and holiday gift giving or to treat yourself! It is just a magical time of year to share with your friends and family.
