Inspiration: With its bold pattern and cool colors, this scarf evokes the rugged beauty of the Atlantic off the coast of Ireland. For the “Irish Sea” scarf, I selected five cool shades of light blue and turquoise that meander across a background reminiscent of the natural coat colors of sheep.

Work steps: The scarf is knitted in one piece in back-and-forth rows. You start with a ribbed border, work the patterned section according to the chart, and finish with a ribbed border at the top.

Inspiration: Mit einem ausdrucksvollen Muster und kühlen Farben erinnert dieser Schal an die raue Schönheit des Atlantiks vor der irischen Küste. Für den Schal „Irish Sea“ habe ich fünf Hellblau- und Türkistöne ausgewählt, die sich über einem braun-beigen Hintergrund natürlicher Fellfarben der Schafe schlängeln.

Arbeitsschritte: Der Schal wird in einem Stück in Hin- und Rückreihen gestrickt. Man beginnt mit einem unteren Rand im Rippenmuster, strickt den gemusterten Abschnitt laut des Zählmusters und schließt mit einem Rippenrand am oberen Ende ab.
