This half-hexagon shawl combines the sophisticated luxury of a great layering piece with the simple grace of a linear design. The piece is worked from the lower, longer edge, and decreased toward the apex of the half-hexagon. The shawl is edged in an Arrowhead Lace pattern, transitioning to a pattern of cups to fill the voids created by the decreases in the Arrowhead pattern. The main body of the shawl is worked in eyelet columns on a background of Stockinette Stitch. Decreases occur regularly at six points on the shawl, two in each section.
