Knitted and Frilled and Felted Tea Cosy

Size
To fit a six-cup teapot that stands 14cm (5 1/2 inches) tall (not including the knob) and 14cm (5 1/2 in) in diameter (not including the spout and handle).

Materials
3 x 50g balls Nundle Collection 8-ply wool, Main Colour (MC): Cerise (see note)
1 x 50g ball Nundle 100% Mohair Loop, Contrast Colour (CC): Blue

Note: It is essential to use excellent felting wool for this cosy.

Equipment:
One pair or set 6mm (UK 4 , USA 10) needles - straight or circular, it doesn’t matter
Two sets 5mm (UK 6, USA 8) circular needles, 100cm (approx. 40in) long from needle tip to needle tip
About 15 felt balls in various sizes
Scissors
Darning Needle

Method:
Coat Front and Back Knitted on the straight in ROWS. Coat Frill knitted in the ROUND. Designer used two sets of circular needles for this job.
