All pictures are of my shawl made with 4 skeins of bold yarn. The number of repeats and the color order was determined by rolling a dice. Pictures of the Isla Shawl in the Summer Surprise box yarn by Cornbread and Honey will be added at the beginning on August so I don’t ruin the surprise for anyone!

I absolutely love opening a yarn Advent in December. That’s why when I saw my friend Tanya offering a summer surprise box – think Advent in July – I was thrilled! Not only was the idea of a summer Advent fun, but I was super inspired by her theme – sidewalk chalk! I have so many fond memories of my youngest and I drawing on the driveway. When I found this stunning flower stitch, I knew I had to combine the two for the perfect summertime shawl!
